Just some of our Activities

Shelter Building

We will use different methods and different materials to build shelters. We may build mini-shelters, or full sized shelters if space allows.

Fire Lighting

We explore various fire-lighting techniques and emphasize fire safety. Additionally, we offer an optional add-on for cooking campfire treats like s’mores and stick bread.

Outdoor art

Using a variety of materials, we will create art from objects found in nature. Artists charcoal, nettle friendship bracelets, and natural dye making are some of the art activities we offer.

Nature learning

We will explore the school grounds, discovering the creatures and plant life that call it home. We will learn basic identification skills and do a ‘field’ notebook exercise.
